
Vicky Major (nee Williams) started Major PR in 2015. Vicky has extensive experience working in the wine and spirits sector as well as with luxury hotels, wedding venues, top restaurants and Michelin starred chefs. She provides specialist PR and marketing services for the wine and luxury lifestyle industry. This focuses on getting brands coverage in the wine press and consumer media. Vicky can help you build your brand, launch a new product, host a tasting or press trip and much more.
Before launching Major PR Vicky worked for Berry Bros. & Rudd – the world’s oldest wine and spirit merchant – for more than ten years. Before this, she worked in the luxury sector. For five years Vicky worked with The Vineyard Group. This involved working with The Vineyard at Stockcross – a five-star hotel with a Michelin starred restaurant and spa, Donnington Valley Hotel and Golf Club and The Vineyard Cellars. Vicky began her career as a newspaper reporter following a degree in journalism.
With her journalistic background and more than 20 years’ experience in the wine and luxury goods industry, Vicky knows what makes a great campaign. She knows what journalists want and loves creating innovative client campaigns.
